For The Grammar Nazis

I'm gonna be honest: I'm not good with English.

If you've read some of my entries, I'm pretty sure you've noticed some grammatical errors. I'm not proud of it. And I think I need to hide from my English teachers. I'M SORRY.

Common errors like these:

Your = ownership

You're = you are

Their = ownership

There = place

They're = they are

This = one

These = many

Its = ownership

It's = it is

Quiet = silent

Quite = pretty much

Angle = math

Angel = the one with wings!

I know that.

But tenses, it's a different story! It's just freaking confusing.

I'm not to brag, but I was an over-all achiever during High School (just HS lol). And amongst all the subjects, English is just one of my weakest points (that's besides Math and Science). I just always forget the rules; and most of the time, my eyes couldn't catch the errors when I'm proof reading-- no matter how many times I read it. That's why sometimes, I'll just give up and say "whatever, fck it".

It took me years before I finally understood the rules of English grammar (kind of). I'm not proud of it, but I even had to read "English Grammar For Dummies" at the age of 21. But of course, you see, I forget.

I'm not smart. I just study. I can't even call myself a book-smart either. In fact, I always need HOURS to study. That's why I always envy those people who just 'gets it right away'. There are people who're in just one reading, they'll remember it right away and won't even forget. And I'm not that. I almost always need time to study in order for me to absorb those things.

Vocabulary? Don't even start with me. My word choices are almost always poor… or average. I've been trying to expound my vocabs but I just always forget. (I always think I'll have Alzheimer's when I get old.)

I've always wanted to meet people and have a smart conversation to learn things and develop my English skills, but I just don't know where to find them. But when I do, I'd always run out of topic and runaway. (oh boy!)

And I'm not even good with directions either!

Oh dear God.
