Wanderfeet: Pasko Sa Pinas 2017

I wasn't really planning to go home for Holidays last year. I just placed my request vacation out there; and fortunately enough, my boss approved it.

It was pretty unexpected.

And I am thankful.

Since I moved here in U.S., I never really celebrated Holidays. Leaving Philippines was like leaving my heart there too. That's why when I started working here, I always made sure I work during the Holidays. Because one, it's lonely to celebrate alone; and, two, there's Holiday pay! LOL

So, celebrating Holidays for the first time in years was something I was really looking forward to. And unlike the previous years, this vacation was more personal. This time though, I didn't go all out. 'Cause I just wanted to stay mostly home and spend time with family.

Manila Ocean Park

Just like what I mentioned in my Philippine vacation 2014 entry, I really had fun in this place. So this time, I made sure I brought my mom along with me.

Qi Wellness in Tagaytay

Say with me, "namaste"... "oooh"... "ahhh" LOL

Although it's not very cheap, I still give this place 5 stars. Not only I felt like the whole place was like ours (because it was just my mom and I during the whole time), but this place is the perfect place to unwind. I'm talking about two massages in one day! And what makes it more perfect is because of the view.

It was just kinda cloudy though during our stay LOL

I'M Hotel

The real plan was Boracay. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't in our favor. Our supposed departure was apparently the arrival of the typhoon-- even the typhoon wanted to unwind as well. Lol

Instead, my friends and I booked and did a staycation in a hotel in Makati.

Talk about movie marathon, playing Uno, drinking wine (in a robe LOL) , cooking our own food, pizza party, pool party, sauna, steam room and working out with friends…

Two nights were definitely not enough.

...

Now, here's my grandma with her sparkles ;)
